THE KARMIC FEEDBACK LOOP

The Eververse: Implications of Quantum Karmic Feedback

"Okay," you say, "assume I'm willing to accept that observation by some quantum level consciousness effects a choice in the charges of a axis of a pixel of a frame of our dimension of the eververse."

[Don't panic some degree of explanation of that is coming if you care to read deeper and become as confused as I am.]

"How do I effect any of that?"

Let's talk about cause and effect. I will limit this to only our day to day level. And we will discuss only the now to future aspect you have been observing your whole life.

When you create actions you are vaguely aware that you are changing big structures, for example let's say moving your hand. Involved in that are the production of scores of chemicals, nerves, electrical impulses and at levels deeper to molecules and deeper to atoms and deeper to fields. But you don't need to know that at all or ever give it much of a thought. You just move your hand. In future chapters I will get into the progressively deeper levels if you care, but this is really what you need to know.

When you make an action you are trying to create a result. The result isn't always what you intended. Positive actions can have unintended results. Scenario: in stop and go traffic on a busy street you pause to let a car onto the street. You feel a little boost in happiness from being nice. The driver feels relief at finally getting onto the road and a bit of gratitude toward you. All the intended result. The universe is the tiniest bit more positive in your vicinity. However the driver is now on the road 37 seconds sooner than if you had not made that choice. She makes the next two lights she would have missed. Two turns and 12 miles later she is t-boned by a truck driven by a drunk driver running a stop sign. Had you not been nice she would have been three minutes before the accident site and he would have run the stop sign luckily without incident. But your nice action led directly to a fractured pelvis that leads to her missing a chance encounter with what would have been with the love of her life. She never gave up drinking. Children were brought up in a less loving household. And so on. All of this completely unaware of by you. All completely unintended. And all springing from that one minor choice. In popular culture this is known of as The Butterfly Effect.

Why am I telling you that?

"If even normal cause and effect is unpredictable what's the point of trying?"

To answer that we have to peek behind the curtain just a bit.

We are used to thinking, we live, we die. If you believe in an afterlife you've got additional layers. But the universe is really a collection of ever changing moments. Time is a perceptual illusion. Each moment is as real and mutable as any other. You are experiencing every moment of your life as reality forever. From any point you are only aware of what you remember and what you hope for or fear will happen. As cause and effect works backwards, and equally unpredictably too, changes to the past are remembered as if that is the way it has always happened. The life you remember has changed in a multitude of probably minor ways in the time you've been reading this. Sounds exhausting doesn't it? It isn't. It's the way it has always been, you just didn't know.

"If my life is always changing why should I care what I do?

What difference could it make?"

If you're forever experiencing every moment of your life as real as this one, don't you want it to be the most enjoyable and rewarding life possible?

So now you mulling that idea around in your head and it is probably smacking into "everything is always in constant change" and "cause and effect is unpredictable."

To help with that lets go back to the first chapter and together we now have five pillars:

  • Your actions can effect not just the present and future but the past as well.

  • The stronger you believe something the more true it becomes.

  • Every moment of your life is as real as any other.

  • 'Now' is forever but ever changing.

  • Causality is unpredictable.

Here is one way of putting them together.

Causality may be unpredictable, but the good odds are that positivity leads to more positivity. How good are the odds? Well, that depends on how strongly you believe that is true. Odds are, doing good acts leads to a better future. This ripples back both from the moment of the positive act to the 'past' and from the 'future' to the original moment and the moments in between. 'Then' that new different now more positive original moment might lead to you feeling capable of a more positive action. And so forth.

This is the essence of the Karmic Feedback Loop. But here is another important catch. It is easier to destroy than create. We are at a point in the eververse where negativity seems more predominate than positivity. Whether that is true throughout the rest of the universe, the whole of the eververse and whether it is a intrinsic law or just the current balance of the eververse are all unknown.

This means that even neutral actions or inactivity adds to negativity.

"So if I want to have always had a better life and life for my progeny and maybe even the universe in general what do I do?"

Here I should point out this coming section is all me. There was no course on applied principles that Sid took as far as I know.

First I want to point out that you have an enormous advantage in increasing the state of your life. You are aware of the true nature of everything. Even if you don't believe, you are aware. That increases the power of your actions all by itself. And if you practice it will become more and more second nature both when compared to the forgotten no longer existent moment that you first read this site and the remembered moment you first started practicing.

I find a good starting point is smiling. Smiling makes others smile and feel better (within the odds of causality) and if you smile, even when you feel bad, studies show you will find yourself slowly feeling more positive. Now if you are a person that frowns all the time a forced smile might be more of a scary grimace and not have the intended result. Here simply not frowning might be the answer and might eventually lead to smiling either in the past or future.

From there think beyond yourself in simple gestures: hold a door, let a car merge ahead of you. Say "please" and "thank you", help an old lady reach a grocery off a high shelf and talk to people in a friendly brief way. For these simple actions and hundreds like them don't expect nor be disappointed by little reciprocation or acknowledgment. Your actions will be felt by some and maybe ripple through them to kind act toward others. You can add or create art or beauty around you, The important part is you will develop an increase in positivity and an increase in your sense of self worth. This leads toyou nudging your subconscious to believe you deserve good results. And, say it with me, "The stronger you believe something the more true it becomes." Thus this increases your accuracy and power in creating positivity and builds stronger Karmic Feedback Loops.

Hopefully, you'll know where to go from there. Too many possible paths to layout anything general. But increasingly powerful loops should lead you in knowing where to go from there adding greater and greater positivity to your life and world around you.

This doesn't mean you have to give all your possessions to the poor, become a doormat or anything extreme like that. Too extreme an action can cause as much negativity in those also effected. So don't force things too fast. Let it evolve organically. The important thing is to always strive to increase positivity even if just a little. You don't want a negative Karmic Feedback Loop to form. A tiny step forward is still a step forward.

And if you screw up, you are only human after all, continued positivity might cause this to have never happened. Remember nothing is permanent. Everything is in flux. You are just trying to rig the odds for a better experience for yourself, family and those around you.

"Wait, if I don't remember any previous versions of the 'past' how can I ever know if any of this is true?"

If your life gets better (and remember this is just in the current iteration of you, who knows what you 'started' like?), you feel better about yourself, have stronger relationships and your immediate environment is improved - does it really matter? True or not, you are getting results.

And if your life truly sucks, well you know the expression: "Things could always be worse." Maybe they were and you've worked your way up to this point. And you may feel negative and miserable but maybe things were so much worse before these ideas originally came your way.

It costs nothing. It asks little. And works whether it is true or not. And the more you believe the better it works.

Lastly in this chapter I want to talk about proselytizing. As an atheist I used to hate it when the Mormons or the Jehovah Witnesses used to come knocking at the door. Then I hit a stage where I would invite them in for hours trying to convert them. I was not in a good place.

Now I understand that from their point of view they thought they had soul saving information and it was their obligation to spread it. And so I feel both enthusiastic and reluctant to point this out.

One of the most powerful steps you can take once you are comfortable with the ideas and practices is to share it with those that you feel can most use it. Those in a position to help others, those that desperately need to pull themselves up and most spots in between.

No need to be pushy, you are already leading by example and just knowing this information makes a difference regardless of whether they believe or not. The subconscious is much more powerful than your conscious mind.

So I encourage you to hand out the website address. If you are in a position to, make a duplicate of this website helping to ensure its survival. I even give you permission to make changes where I have made things confusing or lacking. I only ask that you ask nothing of any one.

If anyone asks if it is your creation, please answer "Does it matter?"

But most of all, be better.

I strongly suggest rereading this chapter before continuing.

© Now  Rights: Most of the artwork has been lifted from the net. Very little of that with permission. I can't imagine that is a problem but sorry if it is. As to the ideas, they either spring from my insanity or an inexplicible connection to the future. Either way I feel that makes them mine to do with as I please. Here's how I please. Anyone can use, replicate, alter, expand or improve upon this work AS LONG as positivity remains the core tenet and no request or requirement be made of anyone in anyway. This is not to be a mechanism of control, profit or power, only improvement.
